CEU Information

What are CEUs?

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure of participation in an approved non-credit continuing education program. It is used to document learning that differs from the traditional academic learning experience and has become vital as a means of determining the value of a continuing education learning experience

One Continuing Education Unit (1.0) is defined as: Ten (10) contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified instruction.

Mississippi State University is among the many colleges and universities throughout the nation that award CEUs to participants of approved programs. Each participant satisfactorily completing approved continuing education courses, seminars, conferences, or workshops can be awarded CEUs in recognition of their involvement.

Effective Immediately: A $10 late fee will be added to the CEU registration fee after the 2 week registration period. You will need to call 662-325-1457 to register.
